 The Kalashnikov rifle is one of the most battle proven weapons on the modern day battlefield. The rifle is rugged, simplistic and reliable. The Kalashnikov rifle is the most massed produced weapon system in the world today. There are over 100 million worldwide. One of the rifle's shortcomings is the lack of a last round hold open device. The M-4/M16A2 service rifle clearly wins in changing magazines. We have designed, developed, and patented a last round hold open device. There is no manual manipulation of this device. It is automatic! It is just like the M4/M16A2 rifle, when the last round is fired, the bolt will stay open. When the magazine is removed, it will remain open. A new magazine is inserted into the rifle. A slap of the release button, located on the left side, will chamber a new round.

What type of products have we developed?

There is nothing on the market like these products today. Our product requires a simple replacement of  the bolt carrier, top cover and the magazine. What are the significances? The weapon can perform tactical reloads while never leaving the firing shoulder. The speed of changing magazines will increase. The barrel will have time to cool in rapid fire. The parts are interchangeable on all variants of the same caliber regardless of the weapon's receiver type milled or stamped. No extensive modifications to lower receiver.

Update on Left Handed Charging Handle!

The first commercial product from DTS is here. Introducing the DTS left handed top cover. This product is a drop-in application, requiring no modification to the weapon system. Simply replace the top cover and the system will work, allowing a primary and alternate means of operating the bolt carrier. This standard top cover is compatible with Euro, Baltic, and Chinese model Kalashnikov rifles. Calibers 7.62x39, 5.56x45, and 5.45x39. This top cover allows the use of optics with the system unlike any other product on the market. The charging handle is non-reciprocating, allowing the bolt to work independently. Side mounted optics or beryl style scope rail can be used.

• These top covers will only offer the inch pattern folding charging handles.
• The charging pin was made universal to fit the metric non-folding handles.
• The parts are made from surplus bulgarian top covers and FN FAL charging handles.
• The slide channel is made from 4140 steel heat treated to 52 rockwell.
• All welds are low heat tig production and grinded down for clearance.
• The cover are coated with a black Drua Coat finish.

The charging handles will not allow the left side folding stocks unless the knob is grinded down. R0.350 TAPERING BACK TO
R0.100 @ 1.0" DEPTH.
